Hey y'all!
This is what we decided at the "meeting" on Saturday night...if you weren't there then tough, bring what we asssigned you to bring anyways. And you better come or you will be voted out of the Flip Flop Club...:) hee hee!

Friday Dinner- Jessica and Angie

Saturday Breakfast- Paige, Diana and Christy

Saturday Lunch- Lori, Jessica and Ivette

Saturday Dinner- Amy and Cyndy

Sunday meals- We eat leftovers

Desserts- Andrea and Sandy
Get with your group and plan your meals and make your grocery lists.

We have decided that instead of doing gifts for everybody then we will do our infamous Chinese gift exchange. Bring a wrapped gift- not a gag gift- and we will do this Friday night after dinner. Only spend $10 to $15 for your gift.

Utensils- Jessica
Paper towels- Amy
Toilet Paper- Diana
Coffee and creamer- Angie
Soda- Cyndy
Waffle Iron- Cyndy and Diana
Griddle- Diana
Blender- Angie
If you think of anything else we need then post it and we will assign it. :)

Lori or Jessica, if you could scan your t-shirt design and email it to Christy at bigdsrtees@yahoo.com , hopefully we can get t-shirts for the weekend. What color do y'all want them to be in? We need to get this info to Christy asap, so she can order the shirts and make the design!

Just thinking of you Puts such a warm feeling in my heart. YOU ALL have been the best bunch of Ladies I could ever think of to put togeather. There are so many people in this world that you have to beware of, it is comforting to know I have all of you. You are all so wonderful and beautiful. You are sweet, caring, good mothers, even if you have no children of your own you still have the love of a mother. Some times our lives can get so busy & nice or hard and you dont get a chance to tell the important people in your world how much you care. Thinking of you all on a rainy day. Andrea

Missed the Fun

Sorry I missed the weekend getaway... I'm not even going to try and explain why I wasn't there because I don't want to get myself all upset. Whatever you do, don't take it personally. I'm under a lot of pressure and stress and heartache. Thing is though, I missed two opportunities this weekend, one weighs more heavily on my heart but.... Nuff said.

I hear it was fun and I'm glad it was! I just wanted to say thank you for the awesome gifts! I love them all!!!! These gifts make mine look shame though, shoont.... feels like a lot of thought and effort went into them. Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em! Thanks!!! I will bring my gifts to the next dinner. Don't be expecting anything great. :-)

Jessica informed me of what may be in the works for next years getaway. Sounds like a blast! I'm praying that a year from now my spirits will be much higher than what they are now and that my life is somewhat back to normal, which at this point I don't think is possible. What exactly is normal anyways?

My apologies, too, for not "bringing home the bacon"!!! My freezer is stocked. Bacon anyone? LOL
